About the Writer

I’m a science and tech journalist based in NYC and contributing to publications such as Scientific American, Discover Magazine, IEEE Spectrum and Drone 360 Magazine. I have also written for Popular ScienceScientific American Mind, Motherboard, Backchannel, Mosaic, Reader’s Digest Asia and other publications. You can see some sample stories here.

My master’s in journalism is from NYU’s Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program. I also honed my interest in science journalism during my undergrad years at the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in History and Sociology of Science. My early writing career included time spent as senior staff writer with TechMediaNetwork (now Purch), where much of my past brain sweat went into hundreds of news articles for websites such as LiveScience and SPACE.com
